The Fall of the NPP "Think-Tanks" And The Rise Of Civil Society

The Fall of the NPP "Think-Tanks" And The Rise Of Civil SocietyFeature Article by Nana Akyea Mensah We all knew about the Danquah Institute as the most biased of the so-called "think tanks" even though we have been looking at the behaviour of the rest for some time now with suspicion. One group whose level of professionalism has been such that I never thought could be caught off-guard was the Institute of Economic Affairs. The evidently recklessness they have displayed must be seen as a sudden storm that cast away the clothes of the sheep from the wolf, rendering it completely naked before the prey! And all of a sudden, what I see is the carefully crafted reputation of "internationally recognised" voice of the "civil society" in Ghana, instead of a lackey of the NPP, we have much to celebrate from its sudden fall from "grace to grass".The other good news is that the rest of "alike and allied think-tanks" seem on their way to make the Humpty Dumty fall! And if you want more good news, they seem to be tumbling like a pack of cards! I just received today's update of the news from ModernGhana.com, one of the most comprehensive news reporting of websites today on Ghana, and the following came together in the same order.

It would have been very difficult to miss their bias, but extremely difficult to prove. It is in this sense that we should all be grateful to the IEA for their suicidal stupidity and temerity to challenge and cover-up a story in this information age, particularly, in the disgraceful manner through which this was done!*
