Rawlings Is Finished, President Mills, Run As A CPPian

Sarpong, Justice

There is justice after all, I mean poetic justice, that is what I am talking about. Rawlings destroyed CPP when he deposed President Limann in 1981 before we could ring in the year 1982 in a coup that was unwarranted, stupid , selfish and histronics in nature. This is not an article to recount the murders and lincensed armed robbery that Flt. Lt. 'Dr' Rawlings unleashed on the masses but rather this is an opportune time for Mills to defect with his government and declare a merger with the CPP, the Party he grew up with and serve a notice of poetic justice to Rawlings and his sycophantic tin-god worshippers that, a 'coup' can be made without bearing AK-47'S.

President Mills will be doing Ghana a lot of good if he can pull this one up on Rawlings and rebuild the CPP by bringing its supporters who aligned themselves with this fake 'revolutionist' who cannot follow the tenets of real revolutionist like Che Guevarra, Castro and others who shunned personal gains unlike the pseudo-revolutionist Rawlings who is flummoxing and adumbrating Ghanains about his 'I care for the people nonsense whilst he continue to amass wealth like an Arab Sheik.

I don't know if the constitution will allow President Mills to declare his government a CPP administration having won on the ticket of NDC but there is a precedent in Africa whereby a President changed his affiliation from the Party he won power with and formed a new Party after having conflicts with his own Party members and went on to win a new term with his new Party, I think this happened in Malawi, I am opened for correction though. As it is now, President Mills only chance of securing another term in office is not with NDC because even if he survives Nana Konadu's challenge, his chances of winning a second term is slim to none and slim is about to walk out of the room with the door ajar. Mills achievement for the past twenty months is not what two term Presidents are made of, his only support right now is based on sympathy as he looks like a sympathetic figure.

The only way Mills can win a second term is if he becomes a sympathetic figure whereby people will feel sorry for him for having been macerated by Rawlings and his marauding ill-mannered supporters like SaCut Etego, Dela Coffie, Amoah and other fool(Foot) soldiers who see Rawlings as a messiah in their scrambled brains and that chance is not running on NDC ticket because Rawlings will find a way of putting Konadu Agyeman as a Presidential candidate either on NDC Party or a new Party. The only way Mills can make Alhaji Batures' prediction that, Rawlings has been tamed and confined to a cooler to be a reality is if he can take a first step and wean himself completely from NDC and take his suppoters with him to the CPP. There is not enough voters in Ghana to feed three major parties and the only way CPP can be reborned is if NDC is destroyed and now is the best time for the CPPians wielding power as NDCians to consolidate their power by defecting en masse to CPP. A poetic justice then would be served having destroyed Rawlings 'baby', NDC after he destroyed CPP administration led by Limann in 1981.

Now is the time for the Mills faction in NDC to start a behind the scenes planning with the CPP and the PNC parties(The Nkrumaists' believers) as how best to come together and bring back a strong CPP as a major Party to compete with NPP as the two major political parties that can compete with two ideological opposites in ruling Ghana instead of the inmatured political militants in P/NDC who have not shed their military fatigues and are still behaving like a military junta.

Let Paa Kwesi Nduom, Alhaji Mahama of PNC, Mills and the Ahwoi brothers bring back CPP as a lasting legacy for the people of Ghana and banish the NDC and its remaining members to the historical dustbin where this marauding armed robbers turned Politicians belong.
