Politics Of Hypocrasy

Those who do not have heart to withstand nonsense should never try politics. Politics is perceived to be a 'dirty game'. For EC chair he always maintain to declare election results and those who are not please can seek redress in court.

I think some may remember Mills asked Afari Gyan not to declare the results in 2004 till the fraud they detected in Ashanti region was corrected. EC boss said he will declare and did so. Mills and his team of lawyers went to court to challenge EC results but lost the legal case due to lack of credible evidence.

In 2008, we saw NDC thugs invasion of the EC head office, where they captured his doors, windoms and roof top. He went ahead in the midst of those thugs and gangsters and said 'I WILL NOT DECLARE WINNER TILL TAIN'. He refused until two parties rushed to Tain for the third round.

To me Afari Gyan has no problem, look at the time it is taken NPP to come out with their so call credible evidence. So should EC wait for this while? The 10 constituencies NPP presented to EC chair before the declaration was around 114, 000 fraud went in favour of Mahama. EC boss told them the 114, 000 will not make any difference when Mahama had over 300, 000 votes ahead of Nana. So it will be wrong for us to say EC boss did not listen to NPP, he listened and realized NPP will waste his time for nothing. As such he went to declare the winner.

If NPP has any problem the Supreme is there for them. Lets all try to see the EC boss as a credible and a very principle person, through him we have had 20 yrs of good elections.

Fellow Ghanaians, why is it that NPP never complain in 2000 and 2004 elections? (Power time). But they complain in 1992, 1996 and 2012 (opposition time). Why is it that NDC never complain of vote rigging in 1992, 1996, 2000? The simple reason is that they were in power.

We as scholars MUST learn to REJECT the NONSENSE of the two parties whenever election results do not favour them especially when they are out of power.

We must not allow the INSINCERITY of NPP and NDC to disturb our peace in Ghana. Which of these parties have EVER ACCEPTED DEFEAT when in opposition? They only ACCEPT or concede defeat when they are in power. We can all be partisan BUT WE MUST REJECT their INSINCERITY TO EC!! God Bless Ghana, God Bless EC!!!
