Open Letter to Stephen Atugiba

– NDC Communication Team Member

Hi Stephen,

I find your recent effusions on the airwaves and other public places very amazing. I wonder the source of your newfound infantile audacity that makes you feel you can get away with the nonsense that you have lately engaged in.

I see you to be feeling too big in your sycophantic pair of NDC shoes that you are wearing in flip-flops manner. However, be mindful of the fact that your childishness is heading you towards the deep seas where you will be left or abandoned to either swim or sink.

As inexperienced, young but with the propensity to satisfy the wicked quests and aspirations of your corrupt NDC paymasters, you have pushed yourself to the forefront of their silly propaganda machine. Therefore, you are fond of spewing absolute thrash of which, your balls are not stiff enough to carry you through if such threats were to manifest as wished by you.

You threatened to visit civil war upon Ghana if the Supreme Court decides the Election 2012 case in favour of the NPP. Be ready to carry it out as it is obvious the petitioners will emerge victorious from the case, whether you like it or not. I do not want to repeat your ignorant effusions here as they are complete eyesore.

You have not stopped there, as ex-convict, blemished, and political underdog as you are. You are now threatening to press charges against the Supreme Court for being biased, unfair, hypocritical and selective in the dispensation of justice in Ghana if they do not summon people you feel have infringed their orders same as you did.

Were you not the one who started flexing your political muscles in public claiming your readiness to flout any Supreme Court verdict if it did not go in favour of President Mahama? Do you think discerning Ghanaians would sit by for misfits like you to cow them forever?

I do not think you understand the 1992 Constitution, its clauses on how a President is to be elected in Ghana. The Constitution does not require a person standing for presidential election to win the majority of regions but 50% and above of the total popular valid votes cast.

Therefore, if one can garner say 50% +1 vote of the total popular votes cast at elections across the nation, the person is the president-elect and hence, the President. If you knew this and really understood it, you would not be exhibiting your ignorance about the fact that Nana Akufo Addo won majority in only two regions out of 10 in Ghana and so can never become the President of Ghana. Have you seen how stupid and ignorant you are even to be allowed to speak on behalf of a political party?

You are lucky that some of us “burgers” ready to take you on, deal with you physically personally are not presently in Ghana and you are not here in overseas with us either. If it were, you would have been handled in the sense you would have realised how silly you have been all along.

A young novice like you should not under the Sun, the Moon and the Stars be allowed to hold Ghana and Ghanaians for ransom. What for? Is it because you belong in NDC, a political party full of ignoramuses?

A word to the Wise is enough. Carry on as you have ignorantly been doing and sooner than later, you will realise your position in Ghana, as political misfit as you are.

Sincerely yours,

Rockson Adofo
