NPP To Make Ghana Ungovernable

To avoid “shellacking”, the Government and the NDC Party must think again and again to revise their notes on the security network in the Country. Current events cast their own shadows.
The “eagle eyes” of the security network is not on the ball. They are just chasing mirage.
Recent surge of arm attacks on our major highways must not be taken merely as just arm robbery. The source of this surge can be traced to the door steps of an opposition party that are so desperate and hungry for power and therefore have declared that the December 2012 election is going to be a Gorilla War. The Government and the NDC Party must focus on the source of these attacks.
During the regime of former President "Emperor Bokassa” J. A. Kufuor and the NPP Government, arms and ammunitions were imported and cleared from the Airport into a Private residence, this is a common knowledge that should not pass just as a rumor.Where are those arms and ammunitions? Is the Government serious about finding these arms?
Believe it or not an opposition party whose Presidential candidate believes that the Presidency is his ENTITLEMENT/BIRTHRIGHT is doing everything possible to realize his cherished dream of becoming the President of Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana.
Dear readers, remember the dead bodies of women found all over Accra prior to the 2000 elections, none of which were ever identified? Do you remember the 2008 election? Do you remember (Dis) Hon. Maxwell Kofi Jumah and the woman is Germany? How they planned to collect dead bodies from Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi to dump in the Volta Region? Do you remember (Dis) Hons. Atta Akyea, Hackman Owusu Agyemang, Malik Yakubu Alhassan, Irene Naa Torshie Addo and others of their infamous Court Injunction against the Electoral Commission (EC) on a statuary Holiday with the connivance of the discredited Chief Justice Georgina Theodora Wood? Do you remember the earthquake scare? Do you remember Amina Mohammed’s false alarm about the mass rape-robbery? Do all these not seem similar and also consider the timing! Believe it or not, this incident was an orchestration by NPP.
I am therefore reminding the Government and the security Agencies about the 2000 electioneering Campaign Documents written by Mr. Jake Obetsebi Lamptey (A man without certificate), the campaign manager of the then J.A. Kufuor, and intercepted by the NDC.
I reproduce this for the benefit of those who are not aware as published by The Daily Graphic on 3 of November, 2000:
NPP intends to destabilize nation--Awoonor
“The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has stated that it has in its possession documents written by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Campaign Manager, Mr. Jake Obetsebi Lamptey, intended to cause mass disaffection against the government and make the country ungovernable.
“We are in the possession of several documents written by the NPP Campaign Manager, which reveals the true intentions of the party in this year’s general elections.”
A national Vice- Chairman of NDC, Professor Kofi Awoonor, who said this at a news conference in Accra yesterday, pointed out that NPP has hatched an unholy agenda aimed at fabricating and distorting government’s programmes and the economic situation in the country in order to score what he terms as “underserved sympathy “among the electorate.
Professor Awoonor quoted portions of the document, prepared by the NPP Campaign Manager which, among other things states that “The objective of negative propaganda is to create confusion, low morale, eroded confidence, fear, uncertainty, discord, disunity within the opposing party in order to reduce performance to our advantage,”
The NPP document, according to the NDC Vice-Chairman, added that “Our philosophy is that a relentless, sustained and ever-increasing psychological effort should be made against the NDC party at all places and at all levels to ensure the disorganization and possible break-up of that party.”
“The NPP agenda also says that propaganda material must be created, and this calls for ingenuity, resourcefulness and creativity. Produce articles under pen names which will serve the objectives of negative propaganda for publication in the NPP News and other independent papers. Produce press releases in respect of all NDC incidents that can be exploited,” Prof. Awoonor said.
He explained that the NPP has directed its members to use negative propaganda at rallies to achieve the desired effect among the electorate.
Prof. Awoonor said true to the directives from the leadership of the NPP, the NDC has witnessed a spate of negative propaganda mounted by all segments of the NPP to turn every single programme of government into an act of national betrayal.
“These include not only the worthy humanitarian programme of medical evacuation abroad upon advise of medical board for treatment of cases that cannot be handled locally, [but also] the trumped up charges of dissipation and misapplication of funds in the centralization of vehicle purchases which was recommended by Parliament of which the NPP is an active part,” he said.
The NDC Vice-Chairman accused sections of the media for being conveyor belts for the propagation and dissemination of the NPP propaganda aimed at inciting the broad masses of the people against the government.
Prof. Awoonor advised foreign missions, the donor agencies, foreign NGO’s and the United Nation to make sure that they are not lured into becoming collaborators in plans and conduct of the NPP which threaten the county’s young democracy.
He reiterated the party’s commitment to peaceful elections and remarked that the party will be civil in its campaigns to encourage the electorate to return the NDC to power.
Unquote.
It is therefore imperative for the Government and for that matter the NDC Party to take this violent bomb throwers seriously, be vigilant and alert and anyone found culpable be brought to book. Ghanaians cannot afford to be taken hostage by any terrorist grouping claiming to be a political entity, while the government looks on helplessly.

Mr. President, General Nunoo Mensah, Lt. Col (Rtd.) Gbevlo Lartey, over to you!
