Is Betty Mould-Iddrisu indeed an Ashanti?

Many an Ashanti that I have interviewed will feel completely flabbergasted at the confirmation and reality of Betty Mould-Iddrisu being an Ashanti. I shall myself be absolutely ashamed to discover that she is indeed an Ashanti, belonging to the same Akan tribe, and particularly, being of Ashanti origin same as me.

Why are discerning Ashantis worried about Mrs Betty Mould-Iddrisu, former Attorney General, being of their kind? The answer is not far fetched. She is such a walking disgrace that anyone who associates or interacts with her will get stained.

Therefore, true Ashantis who are proud of their origin and cultural heritage feel disgusted at the mere hearing that Betty Mould-Iddrisu is an Ashanti.

Is she not the woman who by her inherent corrupt nature and practices tarnished the image of Ghanaian womanhood? Is she again not the woman who colluded with both foreign and native crooks to swindle Ghana of hundreds of millions of Ghana Cedis through intentional "create, loot and share" judgment debt payments? Did she not facilitate the official scheme by NDC to rob Ghana in a broad daylight using that con expert, the self-styled NDC financier called Alex Agbesi Woyome to dupe Ghana of more than GHC 51.2 million?

I remember putting out a publication in which I stated that Betty had taken GHc5 million from Woyome as a handshake for helping him swindle Ghana with relative ease.

How can I pride myself in being an Ashanti with a crook like Betty as my tribeswoman? A woman, who by dodgy quest to amass wealth overnight and in so doing has ended up ruining Ghana, cannot make any reasonable Ashanti proud.
I wish she was never an Ashanti to bring such a gargantuan degree of shame on Ashantis.

If it pains her that she is an Ashanti, it disgusts many Ashantis at each realisation that such a disgraceful crook is their sister - for being an Ashanti. Many honest people are craving to become Ashantis so who cares if a hardened thief wishes she was never an Ashanti?

I pray Ashantis will treat Betty Mould-Iddrisu with the utmost contempt she deserves for denigrating Ashantis with her thoughtless or senseless claim of, "It pains me to be an Ashanti................"
