A "Sakawa" Queen is Exposed!

Will the Black person ever run away from their sinful, strangling, narrow-minded ways withholding the progress of Africa? Not as far as the Continent in general, and Ghana in particular, abounds with parasitical malfeasants of the like of this exposed "Sakawa" queen. What is "Sakawa", to begin with? "SAKAWA" is currently a newly found and ongoing desire among most indolent Ghanaians to making money or getting rich quicker without wiping a sweat from their forehead. It is what we call get rich quick factor where one resorts to either evil means or illegal ways to make money. "Sakawa" can further be expatiated as "Sinfully Acquired Knowledge Aiding Wretched Avarices"

Kumawuhemaa has for the greater part of her life been continually seeking to acquire greater wealth without toil. She always has shortcuts to making money in what is a complete Sakawa. Since her questionable stay in Canada indulging in obnoxious activities until today, this shameless woman has cultivated an insatiable taste for wealth. Avidly concentrating on making men happy by exploiting her future prospects lying in-between her legs, she still has unexplained reasons for being rapacious, having her eyes on other illegal means of acquiring wealth. Although that prolific novelist, Salman Rushdie had advised in his novel "The Moors", "Your future prospects lie between your legs, concentrate on making your husband happy and butt off your elders' businesses", she upon all this, is still meddling with Kumawuman funds and property.

She has made to disappear the "Kumawuman's war booty of spiritual and historical significance called "ABAMO" under her watch. This object could fetch loads of money if it was sold. Where is it? She worked the Kontrehene, another man J.J. Rawlings may class as a "greedy bastard" to withdraw nearly one billion old Cedis from the Kumawuman coffers barely after the demise of Barima Asumadu Sakyi II. She has been scrambling for wealth as though she will never die to leave them behind to proceed to the underworld with nothing. She doesn't understand the biblical version of "Naked I came and Naked shall I go".

She has committed an act of the mother of all Sakawa. She has connived with the Kontrehene as usual, the Gyaasehene, Okyeame Osei who is always involved in all petty criminal activities that take place in the Kumawu palace, and Okyeame(Chief's linguist) Kodua to dubiously sell 450,000 hectares of Kumawuman Stool lands to what may be a dodgy Swedish Company without any traceable fixed address in Ghana. Her authority to sell such a vast land covering an area of 4500 Sq. Kilometres is limited. The chance of the Company being duped is great. Who authorised her to sell it? How much was it sold for? Was it leased out for a period or it was sold on freehold? Does she know that stool lands are only leased out but not sold? What are her reasons for selling the land and how does Kumawuman benefit from the land sale? Did she acquire that quorum of 50% + 1 vote of the Kumawuman traditional Council's elders' support before selling the land? Was the deal discussed at the Traditional Council before it was effectuated? If all the conditions as stated were satisfied, why has a section of the elders of the Council sought to place a Court injunction on the land sale? This woman never ceases to amaze me with her Sakawa antics.

Asantehene is sick and tired of this one lady who is always dragging his name in the mud. She thinks Otumfuo Osei Tutu II will forever defend her just because they were/are in sexual relationship. Can Otumfuo continue to side with this one lady at the expense of the needs of the entire suffering Kumawuman citizens? I will advise him to think twice before he leaps as the end result will be disastrous for all the stakeholders should he downplay the needs of the poor and suffering Kumawuman citizens. Please be reminded of the causes and courses of the French revolution of 1789. The suffering masses in the end mustered courage to assert their freedom which action left a trail of pain to the nobles.

Asantehene is said to have declared that he, being the Overlord of the Asante Kingdom, is also the sole owner of the entire land surface of Asanteman. He is therefore threatening to deal drastically with those chiefs who have acted in the best interest of Kumawuman by seeking to place Court injunction on the queen and her "419" perpetrators of crime. He is questioning why he was not consulted before such action he deems very untoward on their behalf, was executed? He is questioning why the queen should be thwarted in her bid to sell the land. I am sure the emissary, whoever he is/was, as appointed by Otumfuo to convey a convivial message on the land sale to the offended party had either exaggerated or was misconstrued. Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is very conversant with the chieftaincy Act and knows very well that Kumawuman lands never fall under his ambit or his scope of authority. He exercises authority over the Asanteman subjects but not the officially or Constitutionally recognized demarcated lands for each paramount chief let alone Kumawuman. It must be noted that the Asantehene has no implicit authority over any of the five loose States that form the Asante Kingdom. Kumawu is one of them.

I ask on behalf of the suffering Kumawuman citizens that Otumfuo Osei Tutu II should expedite work on the Kumawuman chieftaincy dispute pending before the Asanteman Council. This will curtail the ongoing acrimony and also stop that "Sakawa" Kumawuhemaa from further underestimating the intelligence of her subjects. She is unduly testing the waters by taxing their patience through her sakawa-minded antics which are but detrimental to the welfare and well-being of Kumawuman.

The queen should not be allowed to sell the land unless the reasons for her actions are made known to the Kumawuman public in advance. Until when will those people playing God have sympathy on the suffering people of Kumawuman? Those who think they are safe to play with fire should be careful of their provocative actions or else they will be burnt or engulfed in same fire one day. "Queen Sakawa", be reminded that your greediness will only incur you trouble but not happiness. Money alone does not bring about happiness, please do take note.

My Christmas greetings to all and sundry. I wish Ghanaweb, Modernghana.com, other media houses, the citizens of Kumawuman and all my readers a Happy Christmas. I wish all of you with your kin and kith prosperity and long life in the New Year and subsequent.

Until then, enjoy.
