MTN Hitmaker season 3 goes on air

There are always funny moments at the audition stage of the MTN Hit-Maker programme and television viewers were able to see some of what transpired on the first day of audition for the third edition which was shown last Saturday, September 13 on TV3, eTV and GH One.

MTN Hit-Maker was initiated in 2012 as a platform to help emerging talents get exposure, learn from experienced industry professionals and also record their material.

This year’s contest has the tag line of ‘Dream It, Live It.’

Deliberations on the second day of the 2014 audition will be shown on Saturday, September 20 on TV3, eTV, GH One and 4Syte TV from 6.00pm to 7.00pm. It will be repeated on Sunday, September 21 on Metro TV and Multi TV’s Cine Afrik channel from 7.00pm to 8.00pm.

The 12 finalists for this year have been selected and will be unveiled soon. Eviction shows will then start till four contestants are left to battle it out for the ultimate prize of a recording deal worth Ghc100,000.

Last year’s contest winner was Koo Ntakra.
