Sarkodie’s #NewGuy with US rapper Ace Hood sparked a lot of controversy in the country among both fans and the media.

In less than a month of release, the new guy is actually proving to be the newest hit in Africa.

On his birthday, July 10th MTV award winning rapper Sarkodie won the best video of the week on MTV Iggy.

Mtv Iggy tweeted: ‘Congratulations to Sarkodie and Ace Hood: New Guy wins Video of the Week’.
