Lydia Forson misses out on AMAA dinner due to wardrobe malfunction

Actress, Lydia Forson had a ‘wardrobe malfunction of the third kind’ at last weekend’s African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Nigeria. After making an impression with her stunning all-black gown designed by Odjis Figurewise, both on the red carpet and on stage, the AMAA party came to an abrupt end for the bubbly actress when her dress was slit down from her lower back in a bid to board a vehicle to the Bayelsa State Government House for the AMAA dinner.

As the actress tried to board the vehicle to the dinner venue, she was unaware that the lower part of her dress was trapped under the foot of another guest who was also boarding the bus. The force with which Lydia elevated herself from the ground into the vehicle resulted in the tearing of the gorgeous dress. As a result, Lydia stayed in the vehicle till the other guests were dropped off at the dinner venue before she was taken to her hotel room.
