K’Boadi resurface as music astronomer

Hilife singer Kofi Boadi, a.k.a. K-Boadi popularly known as the Music Astronomer due to his experience as a hilife artiste in the Ghanaian music industry and other attributes he is very well remembered for is out again with another album. He was with a Kumasi based Band for four years before releasing his maiden album in1996 with “Obra ye animia”.

After his second release “Menko m’abrabo yi”, he broke through to the camp of Kojo Antwi, where he gained further experience and has since been described as singing just as his mentor, Kojo Antwi- the Music Man. K-Boadi, disclosed that in 2004 when he appeared the third time, Kojo Antwi contributed tremendously in making of “Saga na eye wo”.

Currently, he is out with “Ode Nkwan pa egye ade” as his fourth album with other tracks including “Baby girl, Wo beba, Shakara and more. He featured the artiste Tinny-The Aletse Kankpe man and Ice Cube on this particular one.

He declared that Family Spirit is temporary in charge of the album recorded by the magical fingers of Big Papa-Akoustic Studioz at Dansoman in Accra. The engineer, Big Papa, whose name is on the lips of most Ghanaians for the next best engineer award has worked on most hit songs in the year. His words, as to why he is called “Music Astronomer”, are due to the fact that he looks to the old and matured stars to do his music.

Nana Ampadu, one of the nations’ experienced and old musicians falls in the list of his role models. He has ten tracks on the album and added that unlike the olden days when musicians sat to weave and present must listen to songs, artistes today are not into that with reason, that fans love the making of beat than the message a song carries.

This he added has thus changed the trend of singing presently. “Singing best today, is singing about women and love (profane)” he said. He urges all to devote and listen to his well draft music which is currently receiving massive airplay on the waves.
