Jupita ‘fights’ event organiser

Ghanaian dancehall act, Jupita Da General is not happy about how MTN, organisers of this year’s pulse turn up concert are using his brand to promote the event without informing him.

The organisers of the show added his name to a list of acts fans want to see at the concert in a poll conducted on twitter.

He described the act as “Big Joke”.

“I think @MTNGhana event organisers are from space,
Big Joke!!!!!!!

“I never ask to be part of these list, if you want me on board contact my management, jokers #mtnpulse

“Its Unprofessional to add me to a list without my concern @MTNGhana very disappointed in your arganisers, wake up!!!!

“I rest my case, God Don’t sleep… #Enemies!!”

After the Twitter rant; an unknown number told the Dancehall star “they were watching”.
Minutes after ranting on twitter, Jupita posted on Facebook a threat he received from an unknown person for his comments.

“Look at what some unknown person telling me, after begin to stand for myself, he thinks he is superior because probably he might be part of the mtn organisers, for how long do we have to face threats anytime we fight for what is right?

Now to the person who sent me this ( mtn organiser), I know my line, so next time call my management if you want me on board, if my fans requested for me, the right way is to contact me first before anything else… thank you!!”
