Ghana Music Awards holds Spectacular Show

It was a spectacular show that heralded the 2004 Ghana Music Awards.As anticipated, the night was full of glamour, glitz, pure fun and entertainment, and at the end when  VIP?s Ahomka wo mu? was finally announced the Song of the Year, the whole auditorium erupted in an unending wave of deafening cheers! The night?s excitement begun at the entrance to the International Conference Centre, the venue for the show.

The stairs leading to the doors were lined with a red carpet and lanterns of fire! It was Magical! All the nominees arrived in stretch Limousines amid cheers from fans who lined the sides.
Once the show begun, it was smooth sailing as presenter after presenter, came up stage, gave messages on HIV/AIDS and gave to awards to the winners. 

In a departure from previous years, Celebrity Presenters including Bola Ray, Adjoa Aidoo-Shum, Kojo Frimpong, Diana Akiwumi Botchway, Hon. Asamoah Boateng, Stella Dugan, Pascaline Edwards, Doreen Andoh, Kofi Ansah,compered various categories. It was such a novelty and the audience warmed up to the idea quite nicely. The favourite set, however was the Abeiku Santana and Nigerian Comedian; Gbenga Adeyinka combination.
