Ekow Micah gets new lawyer, begs court for more time

Reggae Musician, Ekow Micah who is currently standing trial has finally gotten a new lawyer to help him fight his case in court.

The under pressure musician at the last hearing of his case pleaded with an Accra Circuit court to adjourn a case of possession of Indian hemp against him, in order for him to look for a new lawyer after he ditched his counsel David John Percy.

His plea was granted following which the court adjourned sitting to 5th October.

As the court reconvened today Monday 5th October to continue with the case, Lawyer Andrew Coudjoe emerged as Ekow Micah’s new lawyer.

After introducing himself, Lawyer Andrew Coudjoe prayed the court to grant him sometime to carefully study the case to adequately abreast himself with proceedings so far.

Presiding Judge, his Honor Aboagye Tandoh who presided over the case accepted his plea and adjourned the case to October 13.
