Monday celebrity crush is the veteran actor John Dumelo.

The successful actor has starred in several movies and series, such as End of Bride War, The Prince Bride, Single, Married and Complicated , Adams Apple, Sun City but the “King is Mine” was his first featured movie he did in 2008. In 2010 he was nominated for Africa’s Most Promising Actor by AMMA in his role of the movie “Heart of Men. Known for his sense of fashion made him open a new fashion and cosmetic shop in Gambia.

John Dumelo is very passionate about politics and to be president someday. He belongs to the National Democratic Congress and openly campaigned for the NDC and it then flag bearer now ex-president Mahama.

Dumelo is an alumnus of the Achimota School and furthered his education at the University of Science and Technology. His acting career started when GAMA film Company made him play a role as a pupil in the movie “Baby thief”. Since then he has acted over 80 movies with elites like Jackie Appiah, Ramsey Noah, Mercy Johnson, Yvonne Nelson just to mention a few of them.

People are mostly carried away with fame but with Dumelo his humble and modest nature makes him focus on the important things in life. He is a great philanthropist and never hesitate to offer help and assistance to the less privileged.
