Batman Lets the New Album Out Of the Music Bag

It's that time of the year again, when you hear a particular song on the airwaves and you wonder the artistes behind it. If you have heard of the song, tilted ?Birthday? which is mashing the airwaves, you will agree with me that the composers, Akasakyerema are ?damn? good.

It all started when two humble young boys in the same neighbourhood decided to combine their musical powers to give birth to Akasakyerema. Akasakyerema made up of Osahene and Ishi in 2001 came out with their maiden album ?Se Mi Ye? produced by Michael Co-house. This song was another great hit but hey, due to management problems it could not uphold.

?Se Mi Ye? attracted so much attention that if they had promoted it well they would have been sticking their heads out with some hiplife lords now.

After all that mayhem on the Ghanaian music industry, Akasakyerema left a mushroom cloud over the Ghanaian music community. The single, ?Se Mi Ye? was captivating, profound, innovative, instantly influential and easy to sing along.

We are used to hiplife groups like VIP, FBS and Queens Block, leaping on the music industry, but Akasakyerema will take us to another level on their second album titled ?Driver?.

Osahene says ?We are swaying all the lovers of Ghanaian music onto the groovy side?.

The album will definitely cross the borders of Africa. Adults and kids especially in Ghana are in love with the ?Birthday? song as ?Driver is gradually picking up on the radio stations.

Osahene has mastered the game as he was featured on Trigger?s song (Ma W?ani Mmere), Nana Yaw, Mr. Longman and other yet to be released songs for some top artistes.

?Akasakyerema used five of the best artistes namely Root I, Naa Agyeman, King Fad, She and Trigger to lay out a good quality and matured album?, Ishi gives one of the reasons why Ghanaian should get the album.

The 12-track album also boasts of a lot of live instrumentation especially the ?Odo? song.

Already receiving good reviews in the media, Akasakyerema could be contact by phone on + 233 24 470 9641 for more information.
