All is set for the African Women of Worth Awards (A.W.O.W.A)

Women in the world have attained that status where they can be heard of; they have soared so high and can happily be regarded as achievers.

African Women Of Worth Awards (A.W.O.W.A) from the stables of QUEENS Magazine sees it as an imperative that African Women who have striven so hard to go pass the front lines in their various fields of practice be honored and celebrated.

The awards is targeted at women who have passion to impact their community and Africa in a positive light, thereby inspiring a younger generation to have the urge to achieve greatness in different areas of their lives.

From Business to Communications to Entertainment to Handicraft works to Education to Philanthropy to Creative artistry, A.W.O.W.A comes to honor, celebrate and support African women who are making a difference in our communities.

The 21st of July, 2012, at the plush Holiday Inn Hotel in the heart of Accra, will see both the launch party of QUEENS Magazine alongside acknowledging seven distinctive ladies who have been staying on their grind, making sure that our world becomes a better place.

The Award categories are;
