Alan will never leave NPP – Kofi Jumah

The debate whether NPP presidential hopeful, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, will resign from the party after their upcoming National Delegates Congress to elect a flagbearer has dominated most dsicusssion lately.

Followers of Alan Kyerematen and two-time presidential candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo have traded abusive words at each other ahead of the October 18 congress, heightening fears of a break-up in the party.

Alan Kyerematen also known as “Alan Cash” has dismissed fears of a possible division in the party after the congress.

He noted on Madina based OMAN FM that, “This tension ahead of an internal election is normal in our party, our supporters must be rest assured that there will be peace after the congress; our party will not split” but many still believe he will leave the party if he loses the presidential slot again to Nana Addo.

However, a former NPP lawmaker and an ardent member of Nana Addo’s campaign team has noted that, "Alan Cash" will forever be an NPP member no matter what.

According to Maxwell Kofi Jumah, despite the tension between the two gentlemen, NPP will still be united ahead of the 2016 elections.

“For your information folks, I know Alan. He means it. He will ensure peace in the party,” he posted on Facebook.
