Osei-Ameyaw hails NPP polling station agents

Mr Kofi Osei-Ameyaw, Flagbearer aspirant of New Patriotic Party (NPP), has commended the polling station agents of the party for their exemplary conduct in the just-ended Limited Voters’ Registration Exercise.

He said the very high level of alertness and commitment exhibited by the Constituency Chairmen, other executives as well as coordinators, during the process organised Electoral Commission (EC), was a demonstration of the party's resolve to wrest power from the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in 2016.

Mr Osei- Ameyaw, also the Member of Parliament for Asuogyaman, urged the polling station agents not to rest on their oars and rather to step up the momentum in subsequent exercises.

"You have to remain vigilant to ensure that what happened to our great party in 2012 is not repeated...Posterity will judge us and Ghanaians will vilify us if we let power slip through our fingers because we found ourselves wanting at the crucial minute.

"Ghanaians can no longer accept the present economic malaise and are looking fervently to our great party to redeem this country from the moribund administration of the NDC."

"You polling station agents are the lifeblood of the party.....You are the kingmakers.

"You should not slumber but remain alert and be abreast of current issues and happenings.

“The EC has made it emphatically clear that elections are won at the polling stations and we are very wide awake to this realisation.

"I salute your efforts and urge you to remain committed and work assiduously towards the realisation of our party's aspirations," he said.
