The incumbent Member of Parliament for the Adentan Constituency, Emmanuel Nii Ashie-Moore has stated that he has transformed the Adentan constituency, adding that he is the right person to continue to represent the constituency in Ghana’s law making chamber.

Ashie-Moore, is facing a stiff competition in the upcoming parliamentary primaries of the NDC from former MCE for Adentan, Kakra Vanlare, and former Sports Minister under the erstwhile NPP administration Mallam Issa.

According to the legislator, the Adentan constituency has seen massive progress in all areas since he took over from Adu Asare in January 2013.

Speaking to Bernard Nasara Saibu on Starr Today from the Adentan constituency Tuesday, he said he has served the constituency with honesty and humility and has worked hard to fulfill the promises he made ahead of the 2012 parliamentary elections.

Among some of the achievements touted by the MP include, support for over 200 brilliant but needy students under a special educational scheme, securing international scholarship for three students in the constituency and improving the road network .

He added that over 40 laptop computers and 5,000 note books have also been distributed to selected private and public schools in the Adentan municipality.

The MP also added that he has re-graded over 11 different roads in the constituency including, the Roman Junction to Animal Research last stop link and the Botwe Old Town road.

He also noted he has dredged several drains in the constituency at a cost of GHC12,000.00.

Ashie-Moore, also stated that the perennial water problems in the constituency was solved under his tenure and promised to expand the water supply to areas who lack water when he is given the mandate to lead the constituency in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary primaries on Saturday November 21.
