The incumbent Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram Enoch Teye Mensah has dismissed allegations that he has deleted some names including that of his contestant Sam George from the voters' register in the constituency.

The allegation was first made by presidential staffer George who is gunning to unseat ET Mensah who has represented the constituency since 1996.

The Youth of the area are calling for the elections in the area to be postponed until the over 2,000 names that have been deleted are included the register.

George and his supporters have accused the former Sports Minister of scheming with the Greater Accra regional chairman Ade Coker to ensure his defeat in the election.

Responding to the allegations in an interview with Kasapa 102.3FM Saturday, Hon. E.T Mensah described George as a liar adding that the presidential staffer is crying wolf because he knows he has lost the elections.

“Sam George is a liar, I haven’t met Ade Coker or any National Executive over our elections. He (Sam George) rather brought Macho men into the constituency yesterday saying the election will not come of today.

“On what authority was he saying that, he has no power to determine that? Since three days ago he has adopted certain strategies to have this election suspended. But we’re voting today, he’s losing and will lose badly".
