Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), will begin his tour of the Ashanti Region Wednesday July 13, 2016, as part of his campaign ahead of this year’s elections, after rounding off his tour of the Brong Ahafo Region on Tuesday July 12.

He has already toured the Dormaa West, Dormaa Central, and Dormaa East constituencies, where he visited towns like Nkrankwanta, Diaba, Yaakrom, Dormaa Ahenkro, Wamanafo and Wamfie to interact with the chiefs and people.

During his tour in the Brong Ahafo region, he told the people: “With a few months to the holding of elections, I urged the people of Dormaa not to give in to the politics of division which will be waged by the ‘message-less’ opponents of the NPP. I also assure them that an Akufo-Addo government, God-willing from January 2017, is coming to do a job for all Ghanaians across the country, without discrimination to any tribe.”

The NPP flagbearer is expected to round off his five-day tour of the Brong Ahafo region today, with a tour of the Nkoranza North and Nkoranza South constituencies, before beginning another five-day tour of the Ashanti Region, beginning Wednesday, July 13.
