What's this foolishness about distributing everything for free? Please stop that foolishness, fix the economy and let people buy their own stuff. Ghana is not a communist state. What's wrong with these idiots in the NDC?

if they could afford the gas usage, they would buy the cylinder already on their own. whats the point of giving a poor man a car as gift? its gonna be a burden, fuel money. so..are they gonna give this people money to refill every month? show people how to fish, and they will learn to feed themselves. Fix the economy, let them get jobs which pay, and they will buy all the rest themselves. which is more expensive? in anyway, since no citizen has bigger rights than the other, they should give every house in Ghana.

Stupid Koku Anyidoho and his stupid questions on Nana Addo's free SHS POLICY. Has he asked the president if he is going to give free sanitary pads for the ladies to use at school during their menstrual period; and if they will walk into their dormitory and go and meet a trunk and a chop box full of provisions as well as books? Or this time round, his stupid niece did not ask him that question? Maybe his grandparents are going to benefit from the free cylinder and stove so he is quite. Useless Koku Anyidoho.

President John Dramani Mahama has cautioned the New Patriotic Party to halt making outrageous promises for the sake of votes and make realistic and achievable pledges to the people of Ghana.
Addressing Chiefs and People of Ave Golokwati in the Volta region, President Mahama said Ghanaians must challenge the NPP to state their track record in education under ex President Kufuor’s tenure before they are allowed to go ahead with their free promises.
“When NPP come to talk, just ask them one question, what is their track record in education delivery? Because you want to win elections you come out with a populist free SHS education promise.
“Because of elections you say free SHS, am sure in 2016 they would say free transport, everybody can enter any car free of charge, then 2020 they would say free food, they would supply food to everybody’s house, then 2024 they would say free houses for everybody, then 2028 they would say free water and free electricity and they would even forget God has even us air, they would say free air for everybody” President Mahama said.

Why is the govt not tackling the cause of those people being unable to buy lpg cylinders but rather chooses to give them free? did govt fill it or handed over empty cylinders? if it was filled who will refill it when it's finished?? if it wasn't filled what will be the use of empty cylinders??
am convinced govt accepts that it has failed to empower the people economically to buy and pay for their living.
Come to china and see that pavement blocks are laid by old women, so u see the whole city beautified with pacement blocks and that wasn't a loan from another country or IMF grants. Live fish and chicken are bought fresh, killed and packaged by women. They certainly don't need free things. Aren't we tired of free things?? free sch feeding, free pregnancy, free child delivery, free sch uniforms, free mosquito nets, free laptops, free solar panels, free exercise books, free lpd c'ders, free cars for chiefs, free matches and 'bentua'(enema pump),free clothes for ndc and npp women, free mobile phones for ndc and npp activists, free laptops, free cash for ndc/npp rally attenders, free money for woyome, waterville, SG,subah, free freeee.
Apart from the normal public and civil services jobs our leaders esp the DCEs can't conceive and develop any industrial or economic plan. they all follow the usual daily office process and routine duties.
we spend sooo much money giving free things instead of industrializing. pls use these free moneys to create entrepreneurs, industrialist and business owners who will in turn employ the ordinary people whom your freebies are targeted. am still waiting for prez jm Young Entrepreneurs Fund. His Excellency promised to start with 10m usd that's little compared to 50m usd for woyome and 30m usd for akonfem but he's done well for conceptualizing the idea. if every year each district can create or make 10 entrepreneurs(not provisions importers and shop keepers)our country will be job excess in 10 years and no one will need freebies. this can only be possible if govts stop free givings like MASLOC and LEAP and use the money to create job creators who will later repay the money anyway.
take this scenario, two people fell in a deep well and one manages to climb up to the upper third of the well but the other still remains at the bottom. you arrive with a puller, it's only logical and wise that you pull out the top man out first so he can in turn help you pull out the bottom man. Any attempt to help the bottom man first will frustrate the top man to fall back and give you more 'wahala'
we can make a country devoid of insults, greed, hunger, diseases and poverty. Every ghanaian should have good heart and goodwill for others. tribalism is for stone ages. people must stop wanting to have everything and leave others sleep hungry, endowed people should open up new companies for others to get jobs and top govt executives and ceos should resign to set up their own businesses. People should help the president and ministers succeed instead of ill-wishing and criticizing without offering solutions and the govt people should also listen to opposing views and make amends at time. Prez jm should set up a bipartisan c'ttee to draw a development plan for ghana to be continued by any party that wins elections. There is no hell than poverty, and there's no satan than the thoughts of an ignorant poor hungry person. lets think and work hard God by our side we gonna succeed.
