First Ever Money Show for Accra

Accra, May 10, GNA - The First-ever show to promote financial products and services aimed at micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMES), corporations, traders and individuals dubbed: " The Money Show" is scheduled to kick off in Accra from May 20th to 22nd, 2007. Briefing journalists in Accra, Mr Tim Gross of EXPO Promotions, the Event Organizers said the event is also aimed at those who do not do banking or insurance services.

He said the event sponsored by ECOBANK, aims to facilitate the MSME's and the public to make better use of the services and opportunities provided by financial institutions in the country. " The Money Show" will become an annual opportunity for industries to outdoor new products, network with new and existing customers, see what the competition is doing and get new ideas achievable in three days", he added.

The show under the theme; "Money Show is Managing Your Money Matters" would offer clients the opportunity to interact with businessmen in other to make better choices on the international competitive business market.

He noted that the show would present a great platform for financial institutions to get closer to potential clients through one-on-one contact within a neutral but businesslike environment. Mr. Gross added that consumers of financial products who remain outside the formal economic sector would be given the needed guidelines in managing financial affairs and also give exhibitors a great chance to influence potential buyers.

Mrs Frances Adu-Mante, Director Retail Ecobank Ghana Limited noted that running alongside the event would be a number of free business seminars presented by some of Ghana's top financial experts and designs to help new businesses.

"By learning the realities, new businesses can avoid the pitfalls by making the right choices at the outset" Mr. Kojo Addo-Kufuor, Chief Operating Officer of Ghana Home Loans co-partner of "Money Show" said his company's association with the show was due to the fact that mortgage financial loan companies in Ghana were limited adding that, it was the company's policy to provide a fast, convenient and efficient services to all. 10 May 07
