CAL Bank rise continues to sustain bourse

Accra, March 23, GNA - Two equities, CAL Bank (CAL) and Enterprise Insurance Company (EIC) that made gains during Wednesday's trading continued to carry the mantle to push the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Share Index up by 0.11 points from 4,760.03 points to 4,760.14 points on Thursday.

Change in year to date remained at -0.19 per cent. CAL gained two cedis in trading to close at 1,868 cedis while EIC again inched up by another one cedi at 6,868 cedis. Volume of shares traded was better at 49,000 shares compared to Wednesday's 25,900 shares with the market capitalisation also going up to 91,924.92 billion cedis from the previous 91,924.59 billion cedis.
