CAL Bank continues to recover lost ground

Accra, March 21, GNA - CAL Bank continued to rise on the Accra bourse with another eight cedis gain in trading on Tuesday bringing its closing price to 1,860 cedis.

The GSE All-Share Index, the main market index, closed trading up by 0.47 points on the strength of CAL Bank's rise.

The index ended at 4,759.67 points from Monday's 4,759.20 points. Volume of shares traded was higher at 256,900 compared to 185,600 shares recorded at the previous session.

Market capitalisation was also better at 91,923.63 billion cedis from Monday's 91,922.39 billion cedis while change in the year to date rose to -0.20 per cent.
