Despite the fact that you were paid as an Ambassador, you also arranged with the K4 administration for you, Mr. Owusu and K4 to receive 3% of the revenue under the disguise of your EO Group. This is known in the western world as "Double Dipping" or receiving double payment for a job done. As a result of your act, Ghana ended up receiving only 10% of our oil revenue, instead of 13%.
The 3% would give you over US$200 million annually. Going round and giving kids peanuts under your so-called Foundation is like throwing dust into our eyes.

The facts remains that EO Group made oil exploration possible in Ghana after soo many year of "try your luck" under PNDC. It is this Asante smartness and achievement that has triggered big hatred in some people towards Dr. Bawuah Edusei. But who Jah bless no man curse!

The EO Group came out of E-Link, a company which Dr. Edusei formed in 1999 to facilitate his philanthrophic and entrepreneural ambition; a trait which is rooted in his family tree.
Dr. Edusei's EO Group brought Kosmos to Ghana. According to Ghana Petroleum law around that time, investors gets 90% whiles Ghana Government gets 10% of the accrued revenue from investors exporation of the oil.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT EO Group struk its deal with Kosmos but not Government of Ghana. Thus EO's took its 3% share was from Kosmos Energy but not Government of Ghana. This goes to explain that EO's 3% was taken from Kosmos 90% shares that was due them. Thus Kosmos was left with 87% of their shares whilex Government of Ghana's shares remains 10% as stated by Ghana Petroleum law.
Dr. Edusei's EO Group signed agreement with Kosmos Energy in July 2003, and rounded the agreement up in early 2004, whiles he became Ghana's ambassador to US in October 2004. So there was no conflict of interest whatsoever as some people are trying to force down our throat. The EO-Kosmos Energy was done before he became an ambassador.
In establishing the cleaness of the agreement, international investigators were hired to investigate EO. Yet, they found nothing wrong with their deal with Kosmos.
In 2013, Ghana government cleared EO of any wrong doing.
So now what? The obvious is that it is just due to sheer envy and hatred that some persons continue to throw dust into people's eye to soil the hard earn reputation of Dr. Edusei. But that is not gonna wash. Folks should rather be grateful to the EO Group for making oil exploration in Ghana a reality. Afterall, Tsatsu Tsikata spent millions of dollars of tax payers monies in about 20years on flimsy exporation engagements but to no avail.
Lets Ghanaians be grateful to Dr. Edusei and his EO group, for they have done what "Napoleon" Tsatsu Tsikata couldn't do in 20years.

The 3.5% that the EO group got from the deal was through intense negotiation with Kosmos so it came out of Kosmos's share and not Ghana's. Please check Ghana's Petroluem Agreement with GNPC and see what share Tsatsu Tsikata put in place for Ghana .
