Kennedy Adjepong Exposes President John Mahama In Germany

The Member of Parliament for Assin North, Honorable Kennedy Adjepong has noted that the assumption of the Presidency by H.E John Dramani Mahama would not bring any changes in the lives of Ghanaian or improvement in governance but rather a continuation of the failed and discredited policies that have been in place since 2009.
Speaking at the official inauguration of the Bremen Chapter of the New Patriotic Party over the weekend, Honorable Adjepong said Ghanaians should brace themselves for an increase in the level of corruption, ineptitude and incompetence that have characterized the NDC government since it assumed the reins of power.
He argued that the personal involvement of President Mahama in the failed STX deal which cost the Ghanaian tax payer 17 Million Dollars, the fraudulent circumstances surrounding the purchase of the Embraer 190 Jet for which Ghana paid 54 Million Dollars instead of 31 Million plus additional 2 Million for stare case and 1 Million Dollars for the entertainment system as well as the questionable manner in which the ban on Amajaro was lifted by the then vice President raise questions about his integrity.
According to the Assin North Legislator, businessmen perceived not to be sympathetic to the NDC have become targets of an orchestrated campaign aimed at compelling such business entities to repay their loans under short notices .He revealed that some business entities that own GH 20,000 are being compelled to sell company properties to repay their debts while the Ibrahim Mahama (the President’s brother)who is indebted to the Merchant Bank to the tune of 60, 000 Dollars has not been subjected to similar treatment adding that if this is not economic apartheid then Ghanaians are yet to know what it is.
Honorable Adjepong maintained that corruption has become so endemic within the NDC government that Ministers, Party officials and other government appointees now see politics as right to amass wealth and not as a privilege to serve adding the just under three years the deputy minister for local government Elvis Afriyie Ankrah has acquired a $650,000 property at East Legon and challenged him to explain to Ghanaians how he was able to acquire the siad property within this short period.
He disclosed that the actual amount paid to Mr Alfred Woyome as judgment debt was not GH 51,000 as previously reported but GH 94, 000 an amount that could have been used to provide free senior secondary education for 250,000 students for five years and said Akuffo-Addo’s vision of providing free senior secondary education is a vision that can easily be realized. He urged Ghanaians to rally behind Nana Akuffo-Addo and the NPP to ensure victory on December 7.
On his part Lawyer Kwabena Kokofu, NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Bantama assured party supporters and all Ghanaians that the party would defend its votes at all cost and would not give in to the politics of intimidation and threats.
He insisted that politics is not about who can trade the worst insults but rather it is about which political party has the right policies, programs and more importantly the right people with the requisite knowledge to execute those programs saying” from 2000 to 2008 the NPP has demonstrated in practical terms that it is the only party with the vision to move this country forward.”
Also speaking at the gathering, Nana Yaa Ampomaah, Women´s Organizer of the party in the Bantama Constituency appealed to women to make the party attractive to other women through their conduct and the way they carry themselves.
She called on Ghanaian women not to shy away from politics but to get actively involved since that is the only way they can change the future direction of the country. She therefore challenged women not sit on the fence and only to complain when things go wrong but to engage and participate at all levels of the political discourse saying “evil can only triumph when good people do nothing”
Mr Dwemena Yeboah, National Chairman of NPP –Germany asked the newly elected executives to redouble their efforts in mobilizing support and resources for party to ensure victory in the December polls. The executive members include Dr Kwadwo Wiafe, Chairman with Mr Kennedy Ofori as his vice. Mr Owusu Yeboah is the secretary and has Mr Seth Amoah to assist him. The position of the Women´s Organizer went to Naana Ama Gyemfua and she is assisted by Naana Serwa Bonsu while the Communication Team is headed by Mr Fredrick Boateng with Mr Banahene as his deputy. Mr Kwabena Obour Boateng takes charge of the Youth Wing and he is being assisted by Mr Akwasi Sarpong. Nana Akosah Brempong and Nana Nkansah Boafari constitute the Council of Elders.
