Newly Elected NDC NY Branch Executives Meet

Incoming Executives and some members of NDC NY met on Sunday, July 5th at 7pm at 10 E 138 St., in Harlem, New York to celebrate, and thank God for their success during the recent branch elections which occurred in New York.

On June 27th, 2015, the New York Branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in U.S.A elected new executives to oversee the affairs of the branch for the next four years.The election was conducted by the NDC USA Electoral Committee headed by Mr. Seth Ato Essel. And took place at the C Lounge, 590 Grand Concourse in the Bronx, New York

Mr. Jojo Bruce –Quansah was present to represent Ghana's Ambassador to the USA, the chairman of NDC-USA, Nii Ashiboi Armah, and the Secretary of NDC-USA, Charles Kpodzo, Women Organizer of NDC-USA, Janet Wilson, Mr Frederick Johnson, Deputy Secretary- NDC USA, Mr. Richmond Nettey- Youth Organizer NDC USA and Hajia Abuyama, Deputy Women Organizer- NDC USA were all present to observe the elections. Also present at the meeting were Alhaji Abass Adamu, outgoing Chairman of NDC New York and Vice Chairman of NDC USA, as well as Mr. Osborne Sam, NDC USA Vice Chairman. The event was attended by more than about eighty members from New York City.

The elected executives are as follows

1.Moses Klu Mensah- Chairman

2. Abdallah Zeba- 1st Vice chairman

3. Suzy Akrofi- 2nd Vice chairman

4. Abdul Ganiyu Abdul Mumin- Secretary

5. Benjamin Ankumah- Deputy Secretary

6. Eric Derrick Asare- Treasurer

7. Hassan Mohammed- Organiser

8. RabiatuYakubu- Women organiser

9. Rukayatu Abubakar- communication officer

10. Tawiah Owusu- Deputy Organiser.



The Executive Committee of NDC New York Branch wish to categorically state that a publication which was published on Ghanaweb informing the Ghanaian Community that NDC NY Executives were appointed was completely false and should be disregarded. NDC NY Executives were duly elected and as required by the rules and regulations of NDC USA, the entire electoral process was supervised by the NDC USA's electoral committee.
