uniBank adjudged Best Product Innovative Bank

uniBank Ghana Limited has been adjudged the best product innovative bank at the 14th Ghana Banking Awards held over the weekend.

The bank was also the first runner-up for the best bank in Social Responsibility, Long Term Loan/Mortgage Financing and Agric, Forestry and Fishing categories.

The indigenous bank said the accolade will spur it on to offer more competitive and ground-breaking products to better the lives of its customers.

EcoBank Ghana took home the topmost award - Bank of the Year 2014. It also won first place for financial performance and enterprise financing.

Officials of the bank believe their customer service approach and product innovation engineered the success.

According to the organizers of the awards, Corporate Initiative Ghana, a careful assessment was done on the published financial results of the 28 banks.

The views from more than 6000 corporate and retail clients also informed the choice.
