Oil and Gas summit kicks off on Wednesday

The 2015 Ghana Oil and Gas Summit comes off from 22 -23 April at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The Summit, the 6th in the series, is considered to be the most established oil, gas and power event in Ghana.

It will bring together leading industry professionals. Endorsed by the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum, GNPC, the Petroleum Commission, VRA, ECG, GNGC and GRIDCo, the Summit aims to showcase opportunities and stimulate further investment into Ghana.

The event is expected to be graced John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana. In attendance would also be Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, Minister of Energy; Dr Kwabena Donkor, Minister of Power; Alex Mould CEO Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC); Walter Perez Managing Director West African Gas Pipeline Company; Prof. Ivan Addae-Mensah, Board Chairman Petroleum Commission; Mawuena A. Trebarh Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Investment Promotion Centre and Dr George Sipa-Adjah Yankey, Chief Executive Officer Ghana Gas among several other personalities.

Participants would have the opportunity to discuss new projects and get ideas on how to drive their businesses forward; meet ministers & government officials from Ghana and the surrounding region; learn from expert speakers from Ghana & the global community; hear the future plans of the Ghanaian energy industry; understand how to set up business in Ghana, among others increase your client base, raise your company profile & make deals.
