Libya’s national airline, Afriqiyah is to resume operations to Ghana by the end of the year after a long break.
Afriqiyah halted operations to Accra in 2011 following the Libyan political unrest.
The move led to a complete halt in operations leading to the closure of its Accra office.
NATO in accordance with the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1973 enforced the no fly zone over Libya leading to the termination of all flight operations by Afriqiyah Airways.
Late last year, the airline unveiled its new colors, which features a white fuselage and black tailfin adorned with three blue stripes, representing the neck markings of the Turtle Dove.
This design will replace the former colors with the 9.9.99 logo on its tailfin.
