DHL is not able to meet its obligations to transporters in Ghana. DHL has informed transporters it cooperates with in Ghana that they will receive payment 30 days from invoice date but DHL has and does not honour the 30 days and when they do pay after 45 days, they do so without pay offering interest for the 15 extra days! Some of us the transporters took up loans to invest in our vehicles and when our payments from DHL does not come on time, we face penalties on our loans to the bank while DHL makes interest on our monies it has kept for more than the 30 days! Is Mr Chief Executive Ken Allen aware of this? Our can we SME's be prospering when a global giant like DHL does not honour its committments on time in Ghana?
