Our energy expects and engineers should not be fooled. They should think carefully before jumping into developing energy from the wind. Have they done thier homework well?, or because they think it is fashionable because everyone is talking about renewable energy source? We did a research generating energy using the wind turbine. It is inefficient, high cost of maintenance. You have to put more in compare to les you get from it. So far from what I know there is no significant new development in wind turbine tecgnology, and this means good wind speed, or windy area does not necessary produce more energy. During high winds, it is cost effective to turn the turbine off to prevent breakdown. You will get energy from it, but at what cost? VRA should rather concentrate on developing gas- or oil-fired thermal plants. They are much cheaper and more cost effective, if designed properly.
