Fire guts 500 bags of Shea Nut in Wa

Fire Service officials in Wa are investigating the weekend fire outbreak at one of the ware houses of the Produce Buying Company (PBC).

Nearly five hundred bags of Shea nut belonging to the Company were destroyed in the fire.

The fire which lasted for five hours destroyed parts of the yard but could not make its way into the actual ware house.

The cause of the fire is not yet known according to XYZ News sources in the Ghana National Fire Service and management of the company.

A Station Officer with the fire service in the municipality, Mumuni Mohammed narrated the incident to XYZ News' Upper West Regional correspondent Abdul-Laah Dan Hasan about the incident.

He said it was easy to confine the fire but they are working to douse the fire.
