On his part Nigeria’s Vice President Namadi Sambo said Ghana’s late President, Professor Mills is a true statesman and a great African leader whose life style is worth emulating by other African leaders.

Mr. Sambo who led the delegation to officially commiserate with President Mahama and the people of Ghana on the demise of President Mills, said Nigeria will do everything possible as a West African neighbor to assist Ghana in these trying times.

“Atta Mills was a statesman and a Great African Leader and not only Ghana but Africa and the World in general have lost a great man.

“I am also using this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation for the manner in which the transition in your country took place and to congratulate you on the sustenance of democracy which is in the interest of your good people, our ECOWAS region and Africa in general” Vice President Sambo said.**
