ETI gain pushes index up

Accra, Nov. 30, GNA - Gains by Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI) and Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL) pushed up the GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark measure of the Accra bourse, a whopping 255.87 points. The index rallied to close 6,387.16 points up from 6,131.29 points at the previous close on Thursday.

Traded volumes, however, fell to close 71,400 shares down from 180,500 shares.

Change to date now stands at 27.59 per cent. There were two positive price changes. ETI gained GHC20.1165 at GHC21.2815 and GOIL went up GH=A2 0.0001 at GHC2 0.2505.

Market capitalisation rose to GH=A212,227.54 a jump from GH=A212,070.59 million.
