CTK Citylink to launch Sunyani route

Accra, May 31, GNA - CTK Aviations Network, air transport service providers is set to begin scheduled flight services to Sunyani from June 5, this year.

A statement signed by Mr Koos Vlaar, Director, CTK Citylink on Wednesday said there would be three return flights to Sunyani on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Since April 2006, Citylink has expanded its domestic route network and currently flies daily to the three top business destinations outside Accra, namely Kumasi, Tamale and Takoradi.

CTK Citylink has added a 33-seater aircraft to its existing fleet to guarantee better comfort in air travel to the top business destinations outside Accra.

This is part of an expansion and service enhancement programme being rolled out by the company to better serve clients. The statement mentioned Citylink's unparalleled safety and operational record having successfully passed international safety audits conducted by Shell West Africa, Newmont Ghana, SOS International, Hart Aviation Australia, Global Aviation Claims, Wyvern Consultancy and Goldfields Ghana.

The Company also provides executive charters for the safety audit organizations and some foreign missions in Ghana. Citylink broke the myth in domestic air transport in Ghana by successfully providing air transport services on selected local routes since 2003. It is currently expanding its route network, which is being planned to go beyond the borders of Ghana to other destinations in the region.
