Bruce-Annan Heads Vodafone's Corporate Communications

Accra, Nov. 4 GNA - Vodafone Ghana has appointed Carmen Bruce-Annan as Head of Corporate Communications, effective Monday, November 1, 2010.

A statement in Accra, signed by Vicky Osafo, Corporate Affairs Manager, said Carmen Bruce-Annan was a leading expert in Corporate Communications Management, and joins Vodafone Ghana from Zain Ghana, where she was the official spokesperson.

Bruce-Annan built the corporate communications team that launched several trailblazing initiatives including the 'Touching Lives' television series - recently named TV Programme of the Year - by the Chartered Institute of Marketing; and the Odumase school rebuilding project and documentary.

She also directed several PR campaigns including Ghana's first 3.5G data launch at Zain, the statement said.

Prior to joining Zain Ghana, Carmen worked for T-Mobile UK as an Internal Communications Consultant where she spearheaded the concept and development of people management, and worked with both HR and Finance functions to drive internal communication initiatives to help achieve corporate goals.

Her public sector experience was gained in the National Health Service in England and in a number of organizations in the housing and pharmaceutical sectors.
