Accra bourse slips again but sees huge sales

Accra, Nov. 30, GNA - Accra bourse slipped again in trading on Thursday, but saw one of its biggest sales of shares.

Six equities sold a total of 14.99 million shares with CAL accounting for 12.95 million shares. Cocoa Processing Company sold 2.02 million while Aluworks, ECOBANK Ghana, Ghana Commercial Bank and Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited accounted for the rest. The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Share Index, the main stock index, lost 0.02 points at 4,992.93 points from 4,992.95 points on Wednesday.

Change to date remained at 4.70 per cent.

On the broader market, there were three price changes, two down and one up.

ECOBANK Ghana was up by one cedi at 13,502 cedis and Aluworks gained one cedi at 7.251 cedis but Guinness Ghana Breweries dipped by two cedis at 9,248 cedis.

Market capitalisation slipped at 112,208.63 billion cedis from 112,208.76 billion cedis.
