Accra bourse index opens week with a marginal rise

Accra, June 30, GNA - The GSE-All Share Index, the benchmark measure of performance on the Accra Bourse, opened the week on Monday with a marginal gain of 1.18 points.

The index closed the session at 10,346.30 points, up from 10,345.12 points.

Change year to date now stands at 56.77 per cent. Traded volumes went up at 235,200 shares compared to 133,700 shares on Friday.

There were three price changes - two positive and a negative. Ecobank Ghana (EBG) gained GH¢0.05 at GH¢3.95 and Unilever Ghana Limited (UNIL) was up GH¢0.01 at GH¢2.70. The only loser was Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB), which shed GH¢0.03 at GH¢1.35.

Market capitalisation ended the session up at GH¢15,587.76 million compared to GH¢15,587.02 million.
