Gyan to promote Banku and Samir fight

Information gathered by Sportscrusader.com suggest Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, is likely to promote the most crunching bout between Bukom Banku and Samir Bastie in December if ongoing talks are agreed.

Initially, McDon boxing promotions and syndicate agreed to stage the fight but Banku pulled out citing trust and loyalty issues.

Unconfirmed reports say, Asamoah Gyan’s Baby Jet Boxing Promotions and Syndicate have started initial talks with the boxers, and if the duo agree, a fight could be staged as early as December.

Samir Bastie, who is in the USA, has issued a word of caution to Ghana’s undefeated Bukom Banku and if the bout is staged, it will be one of the most enterprising bouts of this year.
