Ayitey Powers mocks Bukom Banku

… He insists to cause sensation by the power of T. B. Joshua
With less than one month to the Big Fight at the Accra Sports Stadium, Korle Gonno born Ayitey Powers has issued a warning to Braimah Komako alias Bukom Banku and his management over the inscription on his car and declared to dedicate the upcoming fight to his pastor Prophet T. B. Joshua of Nigeria.
According to Powers, he was delivered in the Synagogue Church of Nigeria headed by Prophet Joshua where one of the Wise Men of the great pastor delivered him and he is now a born again Christian with fresh record so boxing fans should not regard his past record and judge him.
“God is the big judge; we are all sinners but those who can not acknowledge that they are sinners in in trouble. Tell Bukom Banku to watch his mouth when saying some things. I heard he has apologized that he will beat me and my pastor. He is a big joker. I will teach him boxing lessons. Bukom Banku has not fought a durable boxer like me. Those he fought are weaklings. I will set a record as the first person to knock out Bukom Banku” he said
Powers who was peeved about comments made by Amon Kotey Neequaye, the local manager of Banku said he will always regard Prophet T. B. Joshua as his mentor and that inspiration is the fear of the Banku camp.
Now training under experienced trainers and coaches Saga, Believer and Killer, Powers said he is enjoying his training regiments and very happy to attract good support in Accra.
“Every where I go in the city, people love me, they hail me, they tell me to beat my opponent and they motivate me, I can say I enjoy a good support base” he hinted.
At the York 250 Gym in Mamprobi, Banku Junction where he trains daily, most of the gym mates who hitherto supported Bukom Banku have changed their minds and now backing Ayitey Powers.
Gym Director Getty Addison says she is impressed with the workouts of Powers and has never watched a live boxing game, but hopes to sacrifice to see Powers in action. She called on Christians to support Powers because he is humble, despite his attractive golden hairstyle.
Meanwhile the Promoters have released the rates for the big fight as 100ghc for VIP, 50ghc for ringside and 10ghc for popular stand. They have lined up an exclusive package for boxing fans such as adequate security and entertainment.
