Renowned Ghanaian boxer, Ayittey Powers says he is keen on fighting current World Professional Boxing Federation’s Light Heavyweight holder, Braimah Kamoko popularly known as Bukom Banku and insists he will finish off Banku.
The 33-year-old boxer in an exclusive interview with Joy Sports stated his readiness to give Banku a hard bout of his career.
“I’m intact even if they call me tomorrow I’m ready to fight Banku, they should forget about the money and all the things that have happened. I just want Bukom Banku to accept that he is going to fight,” said Powers who just arrived from his base in Australia.
"I have to go back to Australia in March but if they communicate the date to me then I will wait and fight Banku because I don’t want to go whereby I will hear that I have run away from Banku.
“When I was away I heard lots of things about me that I’m afraid of Bukom Banku, now I’m here so I want them to bring it on.
“Bukom Banku knows I’m here so now he is not talking again, I will shut him down before I go back.”
