Emmanuel Addo eyes Tagoe fight

...... after striking Mayweather deal

US based Ghanaian boxer, Emamnuel Adotei Addo is still eager to silence WBA International Junior Lightweight champion, Emmanuel Tagoe AKA Game Boy even after striking an imminent promotional deal with Floyd Mayweather’s (The Money Team) TMT Group.

Sportsinghana.com can exclusively reveal that Addo nicknamed Money Mosquito met with TMT representatives in Texas, USA last week to hold final talks and agreement to sign a promotional contract in his bid to become a boxing world champion.

In the event, Sportsinghana.com can also report that Addo will arrive back in Accra on Monday to prepare for his impending fight against a yet to be announced opponent on the undercard of former world champion, Joseph Agbeko’s IBO championship bill on March 8.

“We have not signed yet but we have completed talks and scheduled things to after my return to the States as Mayweather is busy because he also has a fight coming up. They promise to have good deals for me after I win my fight in Ghana and return home to Texas,” Addo told www.sportsinghana.com exclusively before boarding his Ghana-bound plane in New York Sunday morning.

Besides that, Addo (14-1, 8 KOs) is eyeing a big match-up against local hotshot Emmanuel Tagoe who recently claimed all the bragging rights by beating George Ashie in the most famous local promotion in recent memory.

“After this (March 8) fight I want to fight Emmanuel Tagoe next and I’m serious about that, believe me. I badly need to silence him. Believe me, people know that he can’t fight me and he can’t beat me too,” Money Mosquito said.
