Isaac Dogboe visits Chief Imam for divine blessings

Ghana world title hopeful, Isaac Dogboe (16-0, 10 KOs), paid a courtesy call on the national Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr. Nuhu Osman Sharabutu on Monday to ask for blessings ahead of his upcoming bout on July 22.

The undefeated hard puncher will battle Argentina’s Claudio Fernando Echegaray (17-0-1, 9 KOs) on the aforementioned the date at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

Dogboe will be making his first defense of his WBO international bantamweight belt against the Argentine.

“Isaac on Monday visited the Chief Imam to seek his blessings in his career. It was a wonderful blessing for Isaac and his team,” revealed Paul Dogboe, father and trainer of the boxer.

“Isaac had the opportunity to brief the Chief Imam and his Council about his career and his next fight on July 22nd 2017 in Accra and also presented him with his title belts,” Dogboe Snr added.
