Editorial Description

The marriage between the world and the churchThe church is experiencing moral degradation due to our strong affection for the things of this world. Our casual friendship with the world over the years has developed into an intimate marriage. Most believers are bowing speedily to the awful state of the so-called fashion in our present world. The world stands on the verge of welcoming total nudity as a form of fashion. Decency is overthrown in our conscience resulting in a generation that sees nothing wrong with nakedness. Modern fashion, in part, has been redefined as the style of creating an outfit with the smallest piece of cloth possible. The mindset of some of our designers seeks to create outfits that expose our bodies rather than cover up our nakedness. The church stands in the midst of this degrading environment and still follows the dress code of this world. It is written, "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. (1 John 2:15)."
