Lessons of life. Submitted on 2009-09-04 07:39:44 (modified 2009-09-04 07:44:08) Lessons of life.People come into our lives to either save us from immediate calamities or future misfortunes. I experienced this about a year ago and it only confirmed the believe l have always had that people come into our lives for a purpose. Be it good or horrific experience there always is that fulfilment they satisfied through the Lord. This is my experience: I always had to get the lorry station by 6:15am, else I get to lectures late.I bumped into Becky, the niece of a man I had just then broken up with. Since the break up occurred when she was out of town, she insisted l told her what had led to the break up. After talking to her for just about one and half minuets, I began signalling to her how I was going to be late for lectures if she continued to engage me in conversation. After a little hesitation, she finally let me go. I was really annoyed at her behaviour and even felt she rather never appreciated the fact that I had to go for lectures. She saved my life by that almost two minutes of time delay. When l finally joined a vehicle and got unto the Tema-Accra Motor Way, there was an accident. Believe you me, it was the very vehicle that l should have joined when l got to the station but was crossed by a gentleman who thought he had out smart me. That side of the lorry was badly damaged to an extent that the man lost his life.My lorry helped to convey some of the injured passengers to the 37millitary hospital.I called Becky and her uncle to thank them very much for saving my life that day.If l had not known Becky’s uncle, she wouldn’t have stopped me for any thing. Some one will argue that if l was meant to continue living, something would have taken my time, no. Nothing would have taken my time and if at all it wouldn’t have been that perfect. The above is only an explanation to this relationship inspiration quote…People come into our lives for a reason: a season or a lifetime. When we know which one it is, we know what to do for those people. When someone is in our life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need we have expressed. They have come to assist us through a difficulty, to provide us with guidance and support, to aid us physically, emotionally or spiritually. And save us indirectly in the future by their deeds. They may seem like a godsend, and they are, they are there for the reason we need them to be. Then without any wrong doing on our part or at an inconvenient time, these people will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force us to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer we sent up has been answered. And it is time to move on.Some people come into our life for a SEASON, because our turn has come for us to share, grow or learn. They bring us an experience of peace or make us laugh. They may teach us something we never knew of and even without them we never would have known them. They usually give us an unbelievable amount of joy.Believe it; it is real; but only for a season.LIFETIME relationships teach us lifetime lessons, things we must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Our duty is to accept the lesson, love the people and put what we have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of our lives, bearing in mind that , the people have come into our lives for a purpose; either the short or long term . All are the work of God.It is said that love is blind but friendship is CLAIRVOYANT.Thank everybody for being part of your life, whether they were a reason, a season or a lifetime, bearing in mind that happiness is like an unwilling dance partner, you reach out for them or you call them names.
