Is it not about time the NPP learnt from its mistakes of not so long ago? It is alleged that a delivery of 2 articulated trucks of rice has been delivered for distribution in an Upper East Constituency. This follows closely on the heels of cement he donated to Kumasi. Much as we all recognize the need to help the poor, solving the problem is not by HANDOUTS! The solution is constituting a policy which would systematically enhance the plight of the poor.

The politics of rice and money should stop. Our politicians should not take the poor for granted . It is time the NPP which prides itself on democracy took a stand in this matter of rice and money politics. The last campaign that was run like that did not give the party any advantage. The elders and executives of this party should do something about the situation before it gets out of hand again,
