Braves to open games against Leopards in men’s division of Basketball League

Braves of Customs take on Adenta Leopards in the opening game of the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I at 17:00 GMT today at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu. The game precedes Ghana Navy’s matchup against Tudu Magic.

The opening game pits the defending champions and multiple time league winner against Division I debutant Adenta Leopards.

Despite making a great start to life in the elite division, Leopards go into today’s game in not so dominant form following a humbling 39-64 loss to high flying Tema Youth.

However, Braves look to have recaptured its ultra dominant style after the stunning loss to Tema Youth some weeks ago.

Last year’s champions beat Magic 67-42 in its last game prior to the matchup against the new boys.

A win for Adenta will be the perfect response to the bad loss to Tema while a win for Braves puts the side in line for a rise in the standings. Ahead of the game, Braves lies fifth.
